Sanctuary today can mean anything from getting a brief bit of time to yourself from daily pressures to fleeing violence, war or poverty. At its heart is the idea of finding a safe place where you can relax. Sanctuary is where you can feel safe, you can draw breath and recover.

St Katherine's Chapel is a place where you can be quiet and still if you wish - you are welcome to find sanctuary here.

This chapel is a quiet place where you may like to sit and take a moment to reflect, to breathe, to pause. It is a safe place to think about whatever is on your mind, to pray if you wish, and to know that God is with you always.

A prayer does not have to be in special words, or any words at all. It can be just opening your heart, God will hear you.
